The Hispanic Business Association aims to foster a sense of community among Hispanic American students at Columbia Business School. To support that mission, we provide an array of services including:
The first year MBA curriculum can be daunting. We partner with various organizations to provide our members with tutoring and academic support for core MBA classes.
The HBA is committed to ensuring that its members are prepared for the rigors of the MBA recruiting process. To achieve this objective, we regularly invite speakers to campus, coordinate resume review sessions, conduct case prep workshops and compile a resume book which is sent to leading consulting, banking, tech, and Fortune 500 companies.
The HBA serves as a powerful link between Columbia and the incredibly rich Hispanic community that surrounds the university. The HBA seeks to participate in and coordinate rewarding community service events that serve Washington Heights, East Harlem, or other predominately Hispanic neighborhoods in New York.
The HBA organizes social outings with the goal of fostering a sense of community among Hispanic students and prominent Hispanic alumni at CBS.
